CPB Contractors has more than 50 major infrastructure projects in delivery, across all key sectors of the construction industry, including roads and bridges, rail, tunnelling, defence, airports, buildings and resources, providing you with career opportunities for years to come.Your OpportunityAs the Electrical Supervisor, you will coordinate all direct report site employees, plant resources and subcontract teams to achieve quality and safety objectives in accordance with the project programmes and schedules.Responsibilities IncludeContributing to a culture of 'Safety & Health above all else'Maintaining a comprehensive working knowledge of the contract, the specifications, the EBA and safety and environmental regulationsEffectively coordinating and supervising the utilisation of all on-site resources for the projectEnsuring all workers are inducted onto site before commencing workMonitoring construction progress and compliance to safety and environmental standardsEnsuring accurate timesheets are submitted to the pay office within specified timeframesManaging site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeepingEnsure all operations are performed in accordance with agreed safe methods of workForward planning daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements and trade coordinationDrive organisational change and a culture of consistency,



discipline and efficiency in all aspects of the role.Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements and all relevant Company and Group policies and processesTo Be Successful In This Role You Will NeedAQF Certificate II in Construction (or equivalent)Minimum 8 years site experience with a minimum 1 year experience as a leading handManaged self and resources to deliver work to $10MApplying principles of construction to deliver works in accordance with scope of works technical criteria (SWTC)Demonstrated commercial experience includes planning up to 4 weeks ahead and monitoring of resources within area of accountabilityConduct own work and teams according to site SHEQThis role is offered on FIFO arrangement from Brisbane or local hire on an 18 on and 10 off roster.We particularly welcome and encourage applications from Indigenous Peoples, women, the LGBTQIA+ community, mature workers, Veterans and Active Defence Reserve members, people with disabilities and people from different cultural backgrounds.
