Norco's AgriSolutions Animal Nutrition division plays a vital role in supplying high-quality feed across our regional farming communities. Based at our Lismore Feed Mill, this permanent full time role will see you working as part of a tight-knit production team, supporting the safe and effective manufacture, packing and movement of animal nutrition products.
n
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things safely and is looking to build a stable, long-term career in manufacturing or agriculture.
n
You will support day-to-day feed production, site operations and safety across the mill, including production line work, ingredient handling, forklift operation, stock movement and general mill duties.
n
This is a physical, hands-on role involving regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying and moving product safely, as well as working around plant, equipment and vehicles.

About The Role
n
n
Operate feed mill and production equipment, including bagging and palletising lines.
n
Assist with feed production, ingredient handling, batching and stock movement.
n
Use a forklift for receivals, dispatch, loading, unloading and yard movements (licence required).
n
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, product quality and site safety, including following protected operating procedures and reporting hazards or incidents.
n
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow site safety, manual handling and traffic management requirements at all times.
n
Support general mill, yard and warehouse operations as required.
n

What We Are Looking For
n
n
A current forklift licence
n
Previous experience in manufacturing, feed mill, agriculture, warehousing, logistics or transport environments (highly regarded)
n
A strong safety mindset, including a commitment to following procedures, using PPE correctly and speaking up about hazards.
n
The ability to safely perform manual handling tasks, including regular lifting and physical work.
n
The ability to work safely around mobile plant, forklifts, trucks and production equipment.
n
Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
n
A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
n
A manual unrestricted HR licence or higher (highly beneficial)
