This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key project-controls role with strong project longevity through to ****, while building a long-term career with Axiom—recognised specialists in project controls and project delivery.In the role, working closely with the project team and key stakeholders, you will provide accurate, timely and meaningful cost-control information to support effective project delivery and decision-making.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeManaging project budgets, commitments, expenditure, forecasts and accrualsMonitoring costs against approved budgets and control baselinesPreparing regular cost reports, forecasts and variance analysisIdentifying emerging cost trends, risks and opportunitiesSupporting change control and cost-impact assessmentsMaintaining accurate cost data and project-control recordsWorking collaboratively with engineering, procurement,



construction and commercial teamsProviding clear cost insights and recommendations to project leadershipSupporting reporting requirements throughout the project execution lifecycleAbout you:To be successful in this role, you will have:At least eight years' experience in project cost control within mining, resources, infrastructure or another heavy-industry environmentDemonstrated experience supporting projects during the execution phaseA relevant tertiary qualificationStrong cost reporting, forecasting and analytical capabilityExperience working with a Cost Management System (CMS) or similar platform—highly regardedStrong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracyWell-developed communication and stakeholder-management skillsThe ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project teamBrisbane-based availabilityWhy join Axiom?
