About the Role
The Senior Central Services Officer is accountable to the Manager, Central Services.
Their role is critical in providing a safe, aesthetically pleasing, hygienic and environmentally sound campus in a way that complies with relevant regulatory requirements and expectations of the University.
They will provide a vital service to the occupants and visitors.
This will entail close liaison and communication with all levels of staff, students, visitors and contractors' supervision concerning events, cleaning, hygiene, grounds and Health & Safety.
Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include;
Supporting the Property Unit to ensure the presentation of public spaces and facilities for teaching, learning and collaboration meet the expectations, standards and needs of the University.
Coordinating and participating in the preparation of classrooms for teaching and events, exhibitions and functions.
Managing staff and contractor to achieve expected outcomes
Plan and supervise the daily work schedule for approximately 2 direct reports
About You
As the Senior Central Services Officer, you will have:
Knowledge of commercial cleaning services, grounds services and commercial pest control services




Extensive experience with event setups and office relocations
Experience in directing a small team and managing contractors
Exposure to budget control, financial management and procurement
Knowledge of works management system/s or similar computerised works management system
Other mandatory requirements;
Current NSW Driving Licence
Working With Children Check (current or ability to obtain one if successful)

Base Salary Range: $101,262 - $109,641 (HEW 6)
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
