An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior NetSuite Developer to join a rapidly growing international organisation and take a leading role in the development of its Finance Systems environment.This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being close to the technology while also understanding the commercial and accounting processes behind it.
You'll work with Finance and Technology stakeholders to turn business problems into practical NetSuite solutions and help shape how the platform evolves as the organisation continues to scale.What you'll be doingYou'll become a key technical owner for the NetSuite environment, with a particular focus on improving financial processes, automation and system performance.Your day-to-day will include:Designing and developing current NetSuite functionality using SuiteScript 2.xAutomating repetitive Finance processes and improving the efficiency of month-end activitiesBuilding and enhancing workflows, searches, reports and integrationsWorking closely with Finance users to understand requirements and turn them into effective technical solutionsTaking ownership of development work from initial idea through to releaseReviewing proposed solutions and identifying potential accounting, controls or audit implicationsSupporting a NetSuite OneWorld environment spanning multiple entities and currenciesHelping establish strong development,



testing and documentation practicesWorking with an international Systems team and contributing to broader platform and integration decisionsProviding technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced developersWhat we're looking forWe're interested in speaking with experienced NetSuite developers who can operate comfortably across both technology and Finance.You'll ideally have:At least 5 years' NetSuite development experienceStrong practical experience with SuiteScript 2.xExperience across SuiteFlow, SuiteQL and Saved SearchesA good understanding of how Finance processes operate within NetSuiteExperience working with areas such as GL, journals, revenue recognition, intercompany and multi-currencyA track record of improving or automating financial processesExperience taking development initiatives through requirements, build, testing, UAT and deploymentThe confidence to challenge requirements and suggest better technical approaches where appropriateStrong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across different functions and locationsExperience with some of the following would be highly regarded:NetSuite OneWorld across multiple subsidiariesFinance systems implementations or migrationsAudit and statutory reporting environmentsCeligo or other NetSuite integration platformsBigQueryIntegrations with platforms such as Stripe, Airwallex or ShopifyWhy consider the opportunity?
