We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 2 (K-2) Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the **** school year.
Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The School
The school: Narrogin Primary School is located in the Wheatbelt regional centre of Gnarojin (Narrogin), on Wilman Boodjar, serving a diverse and connected community of approximately 5,000 people.

The Role
We are looking for innovative and dedicated teachers to join our established team.
A solid knowledge of the WA Curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework, and National Quality Standards is essential.
Suitable applicants should ideally be able to plan and teach in a collaborative environment with highly developed competencies in differentiating the curriculum.
Suitable applicants will ideally display a high level of professional skill, driven by a solid commitment to high-performance teaching and learning.
Key attributes of being team-oriented, flexible, and a proactive team member with solid interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
A conscientious and diligent approach to the role is essential.
The role will involve working closely with colleagues to provide engaging and high-quality learning experiences for primary students.




Experience with and implementation of evidence-based programs, including the effective use of daily reviews in literacy and numeracy, is highly regarded.
A passion for play-based, hands-on learning—balanced with explicit instruction across all curriculum areas—is vital.
Knowledge of cognitive science, science of reading and explicit instruction will be considered a strong advantage, coupled with commitment to the integration of Teaching for Impact principles to ensure every student experiences success.
Applicants should be open to participating in, and supportive of, a culture of observation and feedback, recognising its value in professional growth and improved student outcomes.
A strong understanding of and application of trauma-informed practice is highly valued to support the wellbeing and learning of all students.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position.
At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
