It's an opportunity to influence strategy, build capability, and make a real impact within a business that values initiative, accountability, and innovation.About the RoleReporting to the Head of National Operations, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded while maintaining compliance, safety, operational efficiency, and financial performance.You'll lead a diverse team across transport, customer service, and warehouse operations while working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and carriers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop transport, warehouse, and customer service teamsDrive operational efficiency across fleet, linehaul, and freight movementsManage site performance against service and financial targetsEnsure DIFOT and operational KPIs are achievedOversee fleet utilisation, maintenance scheduling,



and resource planningFoster a solid safety-first culture with full WHS and Chain of Responsibility complianceManage customer relationships and resolve escalations effectivelyRecruit, coach, mentor, and develop operational team membersIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with dangerous goods, HACCP, and industry regulationsAbout YouYou're a proactive and hands-on operational leader with a strong background in transport and logistics.
