The OpportunityThis is a rare chance for an experienced commercial lawyer to step into an established practice generating approximately $1m in annual fees and take genuine ownership of its future.Our client is a growing Brisbane law firm with an existing commercial practice, strong client relationships, established referral networks and quality workflow.The RoleYou'll work across a broad commercial practice including:Commercial contractsBusiness sales and acquisitionsShareholder and structuring adviceCorporate advisoryProcurement and leasingGeneral commercial transactions and advisory workBeyond the technical work, you'll take responsibility for the practice by:Leading and developing junior lawyersManaging key client relationshipsBuilding on existing referral networksIdentifying opportunities across the firm's client baseHelping shape the strategy and future growth of the practiceAbout YouThis opportunity will ideally suit an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel with approximately 8+ years' PAE.You will be:Technically strong across commercial advisory and transactional workCapable of managing matters autonomouslyExperienced in supervising and developing junior lawyersCommercially minded and confident with clientsInterested in business development and growing existing relationshipsReady for greater ownership and leadership responsibilityYou do not need to bring a significant client following.
