The OpportunityA growing Australian business is seeking a commercially minded finance skilled to join the team in a broad, hands-on role that offers genuine ownership and the opportunity to influence business performance.Initially offered as a 6-9 month contract, this position has a strong pathway to permanency.
This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys operating across both the technical and commercial aspects of finance and is looking to take the next step towards a future finance leadership role.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly management accounts and financial reportingAssist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activitiesMonitor financial performance and provide commercial insightsMaintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal processesSupport cash flow and balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with process improvements and finance transformation initiativesPartner with stakeholders across the business to support operational decision-makingContribute to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouCA or CPA qualificationExperience in a Senior Financial Accountant, Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or similar positionStrong management reporting, budgeting and forecasting capabilityThe ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholdersA proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel skills and confidence working across ERP and finance systemsPrevious experience within a growing, dynamic organisation will be highly regardedWhat's On Offer?
