Plan, coordinate and manage qualified engineering works without supervisionLead the design activities for a specific project, reporting functionally to the Project Manager for those activitiesProduce 3D models and coordinate with drafting team to produce manufacturing drawings.Monitor and control the quality, timeliness and cost of delivery of design worksManage design resource allocation to maximise efficiency and effectivenessAdminister, both technically and commercially, contracts for external design resourcesPlan and manage interfaces between clients, designers, consultants, suppliers, and project staffManage the effect of design changes in terms of technical, budget and scheduleFulfil the role of Designer, Checker, Verifier, and/or Design Lead in the provision of engineering worksCertify professional engineering work as being compliant with relevant codes and standardsAttend site, supplier or customer premises to ascertain or confirm project requirementsCarry out detailed engineering calculationsDevelop detailed designs in sketch and drawing formatDevelop technical specification documents and reportsEvaluate and make recommendations on technical aspects of supplier offersParticipate and positively contribute in meetings and workshopsProvide technical support for tendering, construction, commissioning,
