A Rackley Swimming school in North Brisbane is seeking an experienced and motivated Swim School/Venue Managerto lead the operations, people, programs, and customer experience at one of our valued community aquatic facilities.As part of the City Venue Management (CVM) network, Rackley Swimming plays an important role in connecting people through swimming, health, recreation, and community engagement.
This is an exciting prospect for a hands-on leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring operational excellence across all aspects of facility management.About the RoleAs Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the venue, ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in line with organisational objectives.
You will lead a dedicated team while driving participation, community engagement, and commercial outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a diverse team across operations, swim school, customer service, and aquatic programsOversee the day-to-day management of the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all patronsDrive membership, program participation, and swim school growth through exceptional customer service and community engagementManage budgets, financial performance, reporting, and operational planningEnsure compliance with all legislative, safety, risk management, and child safeguarding requirementsMaintain high standards of pool plant operations, facility presentation, and asset managementBuild robust relationships with local schools, community groups, stakeholders,
and customersFoster a positive workplace culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvementAbout YouYou are a proactive and people-focused leader who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational management.
