Backed by a team of 450+ experts, we're trusted by some of New Zealand's largest organisations to protect what matters most.About the roleAs Business Development Manager – Cyber, you will be responsible for creating new business opportunities and expanding Kordia's cyber security footprint across key market sectors.
Focusing on government, critical infrastructure and enterprise customers, you'll identify opportunities, build strong prospect relationships and convert market demand into sustainable revenue growth.This is a role for a proactive and commercially driven business developer who enjoys opening doors, shaping opportunities and building momentum.
Working closely with Account Managers, Product, Pre-Sales and Professional Services teams, you'll connect customer challenges with Kordia's cyber security capabilities, helping organisations strengthen their resilience in an increasingly complex threat landscape.Success in this role will be measured by your ability to generate qualified pipeline, convert opportunities and deliver new revenue growth across Kordia's cyber security portfolio.What you will doDevelop and execute new business development strategies across agreed target markets and customer segmentsIdentify, qualify and build a pipeline of opportunities for cyber managed services, skilled services, advisory and resilience solutionsEngage prospective customers to understand business challenges,



cyber risks and strategic prioritiesShape early-stage opportunities and build commercial momentum through to handover or contract closeWork closely with Account Managers, Product, Pre-Sales and Professional Services teams to develop compelling customer solutionsBuild trusted relationships with decision-makers and influencers across government, enterprise and critical infrastructure organisationsMaintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting and reporting activitiesProvide market intelligence, customer insights and feedback to support business growth and proposition developmentWhat you will bringProven success in business development, sales or growth-focused roles within technology, cyber security, telecommunications or related industriesDemonstrated ability to generate pipeline, win new business and achieve revenue growth targetsStrong prospecting, networking and relationship-building skillsExperience engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers within enterprise, government or critical infrastructure environmentsCommercial acumen, with the ability to identify customer needs and translate them into business opportunitiesStrong communication, presentation and negotiation skillsExperience selling managed services, professional services, consulting or technology solutions will be highly regardedKnowledge of cyber security services, cyber resilience, risk or security operations would be advantageousThis is an opportunity to join a growing cyber security business with strong market credibility, an established customer base and a broad portfolio of cyber resilience solutions.
