You'll join an established Sydney commercial construction firm with a long-standing (10+years), close-knit team, solid repeat-client base and healthy forward pipeline.This is an opportunity for an astute Project Manager who understands that successful fit-out isn't just about hitting a programme.
It is about knowing the numbers, controlling the detail, managing the client and building a team of trades that wants to work with you again.The business is growing steadily, not recklessly, and is looking for another quality Project Manager to strengthen an already experienced construction and commercial team.The RoleReporting directly to a Project Director, you'll take ownership of 2–3 projects concurrently, typically ranging from $1M–$6M,
with larger projects reaching circa $10M.ExpectHigh-end commercial fit-outs and refurbishmentsRepeat clients and established subcontractor relationshipsFull commercial and delivery responsibilityDirect client and consultant managementSupport from an experienced construction and commercial teamA business that values quality delivery over unnecessary bureaucracyThere is flexibility available once you've established yourself and earned the trust of the team.Who We're Looking ForYou'll already be operating as a Project Manager within commercial construction, ideally with at least 2 years at Project Manager level.You will need proven experience delivering commercial fit-out and heavy refurbishment projects, strong commercial awareness and the confidence to manage clients as comfortably as you manage the programme.A Bachelor of Construction Management or similar is highly regarded.This isn't a role for someone chasing their next title, It's for a PM who wants good projects, good people around them and enough autonomy to get on with the job.
