In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of complex data centre construction projects from inception to handover.
You will be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, stakeholder relationships, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects meet stringent quality and compliance standards.
This position is pivotal to the successful delivery of mission-critical infrastructure that underpins our clients' digital operations.Key responsibilitiesLead end-to-end project management for data centre construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk managementManage project budgets, monitor expenditure, and implement cost control measures to ensure financial targets are metCoordinate with builders, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery and compliance with specificationsDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, identifying critical paths and managing dependenciesConduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure work meets agreed standards and regulatory requirementsManage stakeholder communications, providing regular progress reports and addressing concerns proactivelyLead and mentor site teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementIdentify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimise delays and cost overrunsEnsure compliance with all health, safety,
and environmental regulations throughout project executionFacilitate handover processes and support the transition to operational teamsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across design, construction, and commissioning phases.What we're looking for5+ years' experience in project management within the construction industry, with a minimum of 3 years managing data centre or similar mission-critical facility projects.Electrical trade or engineering qualifications (Electrical Licence or tertiary qualifications highly regarded).
