Network Consultant / Senior Network Engineer – Enterprise & Data CentreNetwork Consultant / Senior Network Engineer – Enterprise & Data CentreWe are seeking an experienced network professional to work across enterprise and data centre environments.This role will suit an experienced Network Consultant, Senior Network Engineer or Senior Systems Engineer with strong technical capability and the confidence to work directly with customers.
Candidates do not need to currently hold a consulting title, but should be able to demonstrate maturity, strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.Salary: Up to $180K + super.ResponsibilitiesAnalyse customer requirements and develop technical solutionsDesign, implement and troubleshoot enterprise and data centre networksWork across WAN, LAN, wireless and data centre environmentsDeliver network refreshes, migrations and secure access solutionsProduce high-level and detailed technical documentationParticipate in customer workshops and technical discussionsWork with internal technical teams and stakeholders during project deliveryProvide technical input into solution design and proposalsThe role covers technologies including enterprise networking, software-defined networking, wireless, network security,



cloud networking and identity-based access control.ExperienceWe are looking for candidates with:Solid hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Aruba routing, switching and wirelessEnterprise network security experience with technologies such as Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet or similarExperience with identity-based networking, including *****X, NAC, ClearPass or ISEExperience delivering network refreshes, migrations and large-scale wireless deploymentsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience working directly with customers and technical stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work independently or as part of a project teamThe underlying role calls for at least five years' experience in a customer-facing technical position, with strong documentation and stakeholder skills.Experience with public cloud networking, scripting, virtualisation and additional network or security vendors would be advantageous.Relevant vendor certifications are expected, and tertiary IT qualifications are desirable.Candidates currently working at Senior Systems Engineer or Senior Network Engineer level are encouraged to apply where they can demonstrate the technical depth, client-facing capability and communication skills required to move into a consulting environment.
