Commercial Construction Site Manager - Townsville and BrisbaneV2R Projects is seeking experienced Site Managers to join our Brisbane and Townsville teams.
We are an established commercial construction contractor delivering projects across Queensland with a strong portfolio of work across state and federal government, commercial, defence and health sectors.
Our team specialises in technically challenging projects and operational high-compliance environments where safety, quality and security are paramount.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company with a strong pipeline of work, a supportive team workplace, genuine career progression and shareholders who actively work in the business.The RoleAs a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of commercial construction and fit-out projects ranging from $1M to $8M, ensuring safety, quality, and program objectives are consistently achieved.Your responsibilities will include:Managing client project sites to meet their operational and compliance requirementsManaging the day-to-day delivery of building and fit-out projectsCoordinating subcontractors and managing construction sequencingManaging and updating construction programs, schedules, and daily site activitiesEnsuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standardMonitoring works and conducting regular quality inspectionsMaintaining site safety compliance in line with OH&S; requirementsProactively identifying and resolving on-site challengesWorking closely with the Project Manager and broader project teamEngaging with clients, consultants and other key stakeholdersAbout YouTo be successful in this role,



you will bring the following skills and experience:Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor within commercial constructionDemonstrated experience delivering building and fit-out projectsProven ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage multiple trades and meet deadlinesSolid understanding of construction methodology and subcontractor managementStrong focus on site safety and quality controlStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to operate as a key member of a project teamExcellent organisational and time management skillsExperience on Defence projects is highly regardedAbility to meet Defence site access and security requirements, including eligibility to obtain a DCAC passExperience with construction management platforms including Procore and 1Breadcrumb is highly regardedWhat's in it for You?
