Service ManagerJob Descriptionfull timeCompany description:RCT - Powered by Epiroc is an established Australian success story with more than 50 years of industry experience, delivering innovative automation, remote control and smart technology solutions to mining operations around the world.RCT is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Manager to join our Kalgoorlie team and lead service delivery across the Goldfields region.This is an exciting opportunity for a technical leader who enjoys working with customers, developing people and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced mining environment.About the RoleReporting to the Kalgoorlie Branch Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day service function across the Goldfields, ensuring our customers receive responsive, high-quality technical support.You will lead and support our field service technicians, build strong customer relationships, coordinate workforce and service planning, and drive a culture of safety, quality and customer service.You'll also identify opportunities to improve service delivery and work closely with our Sales team to support the continued growth of RCT across the region.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day service operations across the GoldfieldsLead, mentor and develop a team of field service techniciansBuild and maintain strong, long-term customer relationshipsPlan and schedule resources to meet customer and operational requirementsMonitor service performance, budgets and expenditureEnsure installations, maintenance and field service activities are delivered safely and to a high standardCoordinate parts, consumables and equipment to support planned workMonitor backorders and supplier lead times to minimise service disruptionsConduct regular customer engagement,



including site visits and service reviewsIdentify opportunities to improve customer experience and service deliveryDevelop service reporting and monitor performanceSupport new business opportunities in collaboration with the Sales teamChampion safety leadership, accountability and continuous improvement across the teamAbout YouYou're an experienced technical professional and people leader who knows how to build strong customer relationships while keeping service operations running effectively.You'll ideally bring:Electrical (Low Voltage), Electronics or Mechanical Engineering backgroundExtensive experience in field service, installation, maintenance or troubleshootingPrevious experience leading technical or field service teamsStrong understanding of RCT products and solutionsExcellent customer relationship and stakeholder management skillsStrong planning, scheduling and resource management capabilitiesExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong communication and leadership skillsA methodical, organised and process-driven approachA genuine passion for developing and mentoring peopleA strong commitment to safetyWhy Join RCT?
