We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to lead and optimise our warehouse operations across Bayswater, Dalwallinu and Brisbane.

About the Role
As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient flow of materials, components and finished goods throughout the business.
You will lead warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, support production requirements, and champion a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
Working closely with General Management, Operations and Procurement, you will play a critical role in ensuring warehouse activities support Shermac's production, delivery and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations across receiving, storage, picking, staging and dispatch.
Manage and develop warehouse teams across Bayswater, Dalwallinu and Brisbane.
Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and ERP transaction integrity.
Oversee cycle counts, stocktakes and inventory control processes.
Ensure efficient inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Support production through effective material planning and availability.
Drive warehouse safety, housekeeping and compliance standards.
Implement Lean, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor warehouse performance and report on key operational metrics.
Collaborate with Procurement and Operations to improve material availability and operational outcomes.
About You
Proven experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain leadership.
Strong inventory management and warehouse operations knowledge.
Experience with ERP systems and inventory control processes and a meticulous attention to detailed data control.
Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to coach and develop teams.
Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
A practical approach to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments will be highly regarded.
