You will be responsible for supervising the day to day operations of the warehouse and distribution activities ensuring products, parts, or supplies are packed, shipped and distributed in an productive and safe manner to our customers and to assist in the day to day Sales operation.What you'll do:Ensuring customer requirements with respect to delivery, time and quantity are met by leading, directing and controlling all resources within the warehouse.Inspects the warehouse area first thing on a daily basis to ensure it is in a safe condition – complete a daily checklistCommunicate with the appropriate personnel (i.e.



distribution, sales, etc) without delay on any issue that may have an impact on the operation of the warehouse, safety or customers.Ensure customer sales orders are entered correctly into the system on a daily basis.Work with external sales colleagues to exchange information such as competitor activity, selling strategies and marketing information.Forward all quotations received to the appropriate external sales employee.What you'll bring:Minimum 3 - 5 years in Customer Service and/or WarehouseExperience with sales methodologyAbility to work various priorities and tasks when requiredWithin 3 months, you'll:Complete your Atkore immersion program.Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy.Gain an understanding of your team.Gain an understanding of the training materials and procedures your team owns.Within 6-months, you'll:Have a better understanding of the wholesale market in your regionHave an understanding of the warehouse processHave a solid understanding of the sales processWithin 12-months, you'll:Actively quotingGenerating revenue for the CompanyManaging Warehouse processContributing to Atkore Sales across the CompanyJoin our team and align yourself with an industry leader!
