Job Description
As a Civil Engineer within our Urban Development QLD team, you will focus on delivering comprehensive design and documentation for land development and civil infrastructure projects.
With a strong portfolio of award-winning projects in hand across South East QLD, our team continues to grow and we're seeking a talented civil engineer to join us based out of the Sunshine Coast.
You will be responsible for
Deliver and manage Civil and Infrastructure designs within broad acre greenfield and brownfield redevelopment
Design of major and minor drainage infrastructure with an understanding of hydrological principles with appropriate water management and treatments
Deliver and manage water and sewer designs in accordance with SEQ Water standards
Prepare relevant servicing and development reports
Work closely with the other members of the Urban Development team and sub-consultants
Fostering relationships with current and potential clients building on your existing networks to generate new business
Qualifications
Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3+ years' experience as a civil engineer within a consultancy environment with demonstrated knowledge of land development and/or infrastructure projects local to QLD.
In addition, you will also have:
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
Valid full drivers license
A thorough understanding of civil design principles pertaining to land development, storm water, civil infrastructure, roads and/or mining/resources
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and ability to run projects within budget and on time
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisation and interpersonal skills for facilitating internal and external stakeholder engagements and business development opportunities
