Our client is currently seeking a store person to join their Northgate team to keep their daily operations running smoothly.Your current roleAs a Store Person, you will play an important role within the logistics team and have the following duties and responsibilities, but not limited to:Manage the receivables of parts from external suppliersAssist in the picking and packing of orders and have them ready for dispatch from the facility.Operate counterbalance forklift when requiredTake part in data entry for inventory control and basic computer entryLiaise deliveries to customers and external partnersAssist in stock counts when requiredResponsible for receipting dutiesCarry out dispatch duties such as booking shipments via phone, online, labelling,



dispatch notes & invoices when required.Manage warehousing consumables and replenishing when needed.General maintenance and housekeeping of the warehousePre-checks of the forklifts and attend toolbox meetingsFollow safety procedures and protocolsWhat you'll need to succeedTo be a successful candidate for our client, you must hold the following:High Risk Work - LF Forklift LicencePrevious experience in warehousing or store person roleExperience with SAP SystemsHANA is highly desirable.Current Queensland Driver's Licence - Manual Licence highly desirablePrevious experience with inventory managementGreat communication skills and able to collaborate with departmentsConfident in liaising with customers and external partnersAbility to work independentlyWhat you'll get in returnReceive PPE upon commencement of the role3 days a week to then be moved to 5 days a week9.5-hour working daysOpportunity for a permanent placement based on performanceBe part of an industry-leading business in the mining industry and collaborate with industry experts
