Our team manages and executes large-scale capital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety and leave a lasting positive legacy in the communities we engage with.What you'll do:We're seeking a Structural Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our Adelaide Mining team.
In this role, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of small to medium sustaining capital and brownfields mining projects, helping our clients improve, maintain, and expand their operations safely and efficiently.This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of structural design packages, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, and further develop your technical and project delivery capabilities within a supportive and collaborative environment.Deliver structural engineering designs for mining and industrial facilitiesPrepare calculations, design documentation, technical reports, and specificationsContribute to studies, detailed design,
and construction support activitiesDesign steel, concrete, and associated structural systems for brownfields and sustaining capital projectsCollaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and geotechnical teams to deliver integrated project outcomesParticipate in site inspections, structural assessments, and condition evaluations as requiredSupport project delivery through planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagementEnsure designs meet client, regulatory, and safety requirementsAbout you:Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural EngineeringApproximately 5-10 years of structural engineering experienceExperience within mining, resources, heavy industrial, or related sectorsExposure to sustaining capital, brownfields, or operational site environments would be beneficialKnowledge of Australian structural design standards and engineering practicesExperience with structural analysis and design softwareStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, solutions-focused approach and ability to work within multidisciplinary teamsWhy WSP?
