when authorisedCo-ordinating spares and repairs to ensure that the supported equipment meets contracted availability requirementsMaintaining a sound working relationship with the customer and other relevant stakeholdersProactively identifying issues and solutions, keeping the Maintenance Manager informed of progressEffectively communicating with all levels of staff via staff meetings, written communications and one-on-one communicationInteracting and working with management/employees to promote teamworkAssisting the Maintenance Manager as requiredKey Knowledge and ExperienceQualifications in Avionics, Electronics, Computer IT or similar fieldsMinimum of 5 years experience as a Simulator Technician or related fieldsExperience in a technical workshop or maintenance environmentSupervisory skillsCustomer relationship managementSound interpersonal skills and ability to maintain good team moraleDemonstrated self-starterGood to KnowPrior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police and (role dependent) medical checks.
Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold PV security clearance.
The Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) is applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
The U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
