Samsung C&T; has long been active in the green energy business and continues to explore additional innovative renewable energy solutions.We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Sydney.About the RoleManage monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes and ensure timely reporting to headquartersPrepare statutory and management financial reportsMaintain accurate general ledger and supporting documentationProject Accounting & Cost AllocationMonitor project costs and ensure accurate cost allocation to projects and cost centresManage allocation of shared services and overhead costs across multiple projectsWork closely with project teams to review and analyse cost performance and variancesPrepare finance-related documentation for tender submissions, prequalification processes and project bidsPrepare budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisTreasury & Cash ManagementPrepare and maintain cash flow forecasts and manage banking activities to support operational and project funding requirementsCoordinate payments, bank transactions and cash management activitiesLiaise with banks regarding banking facilities, guarantees and financial mattersManage payment runs and banking transactionsMaintain internal control framework in line with group standardsMonitor financial risks and recommend process improvementsEnsure appropriate cost control procedures across projectsAbout YouTertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and are CA/CPA certified or working towards it5 years of finance experience in large, complex organisations, ideally within asset-intensive or regulated environmentsStrong expertise in project accounting, covering capitalisation, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and advantages trackingWell-versed in financial reporting standards, accounting policy frameworks, and internal controlsProficient in SAP systems (S4HANA, EPPM, CATS) and financial modelling tools, with the ability to produce clear, compliant reports and audit documentationCollaborative, outcome-focused professional with excellent stakeholder engagement skills, high integrity, and a drive for continuous improvementSamsung C&T; Corporation is committed to building diverse and inclusive teams.
