The OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced Senior Electronic Security Technician with strong commissioning experience to join an established and growing electronic security business.This is a commissioning-focused role and would suit a senior technician who enjoys taking ownership of projects, getting systems operational, resolving technical issues and ensuring everything is fully tested and handed over to the client.Commissioning Is the KeyWe're specifically looking for someone who has proven hands‐on commissioning experience across electronic security systems.You will be responsible for taking systems from installation through to:Programming and configurationCommissioning and system integrationTesting and troubleshootingFault-finding and rectificationSystem verification and quality assuranceClient demonstrations and handoverCompletion of commissioning and project documentationYou'll be the person who makes sure the system is working correctly, meets the project requirements and is ready for handover.About YouTo be successful,



you'll ideally have:Strong experience as an Electronic Security TechnicianSignificant commissioning and programming experienceExperience with access control, CCTV, alarms and intercom systemsStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting skillsThe ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentationExperience working on commercial and/or complex security projectsConfidence dealing with clients, project managers and other tradesThe ability to work independently and take ownership of your workExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to qualityA professional approach and solid communication skillsWhat We're Looking ForThis role is not simply an installation position.We want someone who understands what happens after the equipment is installed - someone who can program it, commission it, troubleshoot it, integrate it, test it and hand it over successfully.If commissioning is where you really excel, this could be an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career.
