This is a hands-on role with real breadth, reporting to the Finance Manager.
You'll support financial accounting and reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions, take ownership of payroll, and build capability across accounting, payroll and AP/AR as the business scales.
This is a role for someone who wants to think for themselves, own outcomes and grow their responsibility fast.What You'll Be DoingSupporting day-to-day financial accounting for group entities across multiple countriesAssisting with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close, including balance sheet and P&L; reconciliationsMaintaining general ledger integrity and supporting statutory reporting and external auditOwning payroll for the group (STP, superannuation and payroll tax touchpoints)Working closely with an outsourced AP/AR team,



with the ability to step in directly if neededSupporting tax compliance administration (BAS, FBT, payroll tax) and driving process improvement and automationAbout YouCA qualified (or finishing your CA), or CPA qualifiedAround 4-8 years' experience, ideally including time in a larger firm or corporate plus time in a smaller, high-performing teamComfortable operating with autonomy; you've owned an entity, ledger or close process end-to-endExperience working across multiple entities or systemsResourceful with technology (advanced Excel and Power Query), with payroll experience and exposure to Australian compliance (BAS, FBT) a solid plusWhy ApplyReal autonomy and ownership from day one, with direct mentorship from the Finance ManagerHigh visibility to senior management and early involvement in projectsJoin a business in genuine growth mode, where responsibility expands ahead of headcountBroad, resilient skill set built across accounting, payroll and AP/AR
