ANIMAL KEEPER SUPERVISOR - Hamilton Island Wildlife ParkHamilton Island Wildlife Park is seeking an experienced and passionate Animal Keeper Supervisor to lead our Animal Keeping team.

You'll work closely with the Director of Operations on collection management, team development and creative guest experiences while maintaining strong safety, compliance and operational standards.Where you'll make an impactLead and supervise the Animal Keeping team and daily husbandry operationsEnsure collection management plans and animal welfare standards are maintainedRoster, train, mentor and develop Animal Keeping team membersMaintain high-quality care for both display and non-display animalsProvide specialist species knowledge and guidance to the Keeping teamDevelop engaging wildlife presentations promoting education and conservationMonitor animal health and elevate welfare or illness concerns promptlyMaintain accurate husbandry, welfare and compliance recordsDevelop and maintain appropriate diet sheets for all speciesCoordinate purchasing of animal feed,



supplies and keeper equipmentMonitor operational expenditure and support departmental budget targetsBuild relationships with external wildlife and zoological organisationsEnsure WHS requirements and animal, guest and employee safety are maintainedWhat we're looking forYou are an experienced wildlife professional and confident leader with a genuine passion for Australian fauna and conservation.
