Working alongside some of Australia's most recognised corporate partners, this is an opportunity to use your marketing, media and communications expertise for purpose while contributing to meaningful social change.Reporting to the Chief Marketing & External Affairs Officer, you'll play a key role in delivering national marketing and communications initiatives, supporting major corporate partnerships, driving media engagement, revitalising stakeholder communications and helping tell the powerful stories behind Foodbank's impact.
This role encompasses integrated communications initiatives, media relations, EDM campaigns, website content, cause-related marketing campaigns and stakeholder engagement.The OpportunityThis is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
Working closely with internal teams, state member organisations and corporate partners, you'll help deliver marketing outcomes that increase awareness, strengthen partnerships and engage key audiences.A Particular Focus Of The Role Will BeManaging and improving Foodbank Australia's EDM and newsletter programme, including audience segmentation, content strategy and performance reportingCoordinating cause-related marketing campaigns with major corporate partners and ensuring partners receive strong marketing value and visibilityDeveloping engaging website, email and campaign content that showcases Foodbank's impactWriting media releases, pitching stories to journalists and responding to media enquiriesSupporting partnership activations,
fundraising campaigns and advocacy initiativesWorking across a wide range of stakeholders to deliver communications projects in a fast-paced environment.About YouWe're looking for a proactive communications professional who enjoys stakeholder engagement, thrives on variety and brings both creativity and initiative to their work.You Will Ideally BringExperience in marketing, communications, public relations or journalismStrong writing skills with the ability to create compelling content across multiple channelsMedia relations experience, including pitching stories and working with journalistsExperience delivering EDM campaigns and analysing engagement metricsWebsite content management experience, ideally using WordPressStrong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with multiple internal and external stakeholdersExcellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesA positive, can-do attitude and a sense of humour that helps you thrive in a busy environmentExperience with CRM systems such as Salesforce will be highly regardedExperience with cause-related marketing, partnerships or the not-for-profit sector will be advantageous.Why Join Foodbank?
