About the roleWillcraft Estate Planning Pty Ltd is seeking a talented and organised Paralegal to join our team in Osborne Park, Western Australia.
This is a 4 days per week position that offers an exciting opportunity to support our legal professionals in delivering high-quality estate planning services to our clients.
As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal practice, working closely with our solicitor and clients to facilitate the delivery of comprehensive estate planning documents.
This role is essentially preparation and management of all legal drafting prepared by our law firm, in conjunction with our Legal Director.Key responsibilitiesDrafting, reviewing and preparing legal documents including Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Guardianship, Advance Health Directives, Grant of Probate and Letters of Administration applications and other estate planning instrumentsManaging client files, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and practice management systemsCoordinating with clients to obtain necessary information and documentation for estate planning mattersAssisting with deceased estate property matters- Survivorship, Transmission and Transfers as requiredSupporting the smooth running of the practice through general administrative dutiesWhat we're looking forEstate Planning legal drafting experience using LEAP softwareA qualification in Paralegal Studies, Legal Practice or equivalent recognised qualification or relevant practical experienceDemonstrated experience as a Paralegal or in a legal support role within estate planning practiceStrong knowledge of estate planning principles, wills,
powers of attorney and related legal instrumentsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and legal professionalsCompetency with LEAP legal practice management software and Microsoft Office applicationsHighly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesA professional and ethical approach to work, with understanding of client confidentiality and legal privilegeStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environmentFamiliarity with document management systems and electronic filing is desirableWhat we offerAt Willcraft Estate Planning Pty Ltd, we are committed to creating a supportive workplace where our team members can thrive professionally.
