Transmission Riggers - Clean Energy Link ProjectAbout Genus Genus is a leading provider of essential power and communications infrastructure, delivering major projects across Australia.We are currently seeking experienced Transmission Riggers to join our team working on the Clean Energy Link project in Western Australia.The Clean Energy Link is a major transmission infrastructure project designed to increase network capacity and enable additional renewable energy generation to connect into WA's electricity network.About The Project The Project Scope IncludesConstruction of current transmission infrastructure and associated transmission linesNew terminal builds at Regans Ford and EneabbaUpgrades to existing 330kV Northern Terminal and Eneabba Terminal infrastructureNew 330kV and 132kV terminal worksExisting line conversion and network reinforcement worksAbout the Role As a Transmission Rigger, you will support the construction, assembly, and erection of transmission line infrastructure across the project.Your Responsibilities Will IncludePerforming rigging and dogging activities associated with transmission line constructionAssisting with tower assembly, erection, and structural installationSafely slinging, lifting, positioning, and securing steel structures and transmission componentsSupporting conductor stringing, tensioning, and associated transmission activitiesInspecting and maintaining rigging equipment and lifting gearFollowing lift plans,



SWMS, work instructions, and project proceduresWorking safely with crane operators, doggers, and construction crewsParticipating in pre-starts and toolbox meetings while maintaining a solid safety focusAbout You To be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience in transmission line construction, assembly, and erection worksRelevant High Risk Work Licence (Rigging)Construction White CardExperience working at heights in a construction environmentStrong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality outcomesPay & ConditionsHourly RatesTransmission Rigger - Basic: $*****/hrTransmission Rigger - Intermediate: $*****/hrTransmission Rigger - Advanced: $*****/hrPlus applicable penalty rates in accordance with the GNI Enterprise Agreement.Working Hours11 hour shift including a 30-minute unpaid meal breakProject Locations:works across Malaga, Regans Ford, and Eneabba, WAWA Roster:6 days on, 1 day offEast Coast Roster:3 weeks on, 1 week off (flights provided)Camp Allowance:$80 per day (taxable) when staying in camp accommodationShortlisted candidates will have a phone call with the Construction Manager to further assess your suitability to be part of this major infrature projectIf you're an experienced Transmission Rigger looking for the opportunity to work on a major renewable energy infrastructure project,
