This consultancy is often engaged by the Asset Owners Team to investigate complex projects and present tailored engineering solutions, along with working in collaboration with respected Contractors.The OpportunityThis role will see you interface with a range of clientele throughout the project milestones.
You will also be presented with opportunities to truly consult with clientele by making recommendations that will improve their assets and delivery models.Role ResponsibilitiesLead technical discussions internally, with customers and with suppliers on behalf of the businessPower system modelling at HV and LV, including load flow, system strength and fault studies, power quality analysis,



protection coordination and dynamic disturbance analysisCompletion of design tasks for HV/LV power systems, electrical switchboards and control panels, process instrumentation, process control systems and others as requiredReviews and evaluates technical work, selects, schedules, and co-ordinates to attain program objectivesPreparation of project specifications, design reports and other project documentation as requiredPosition RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial context with design and delivery responsibilitiesAccomplished designer in protection systems, LV switchboards, industrial electrical installations and HV and LV power systems.Chartered Engineer and RPEQ statusFamiliar with Australian codes, standards and practices related to the electrical sectorExperience within a consultancy environment specifically in the electrical services sectorStrong verbal and written communication skills, with good report writing, analytical and computer skillsProficiency in relevant electrical engineering design packages (eg PowerCAD, PTW, ETAP, PSCAD); AutoCAD expertise
