Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high‐quality environments, enjoys solving problems and is committed to delivering exceptional resident experiences.You'll play a key role in ensuring our buildings, amenities and shared spaces remain protected, functional and thoughtfully maintained, helping create an effortless living experience for residents and commercial tenants alike.What you'll do:Carry out day‐to‐day maintenance, repairs and inspections across residential and retail assetsRespond to resident and commercial tenant maintenance requests in a timely, professional and service‐led mannerSupport preventative maintenance programs to ensure building systems and equipment remain operational and compliantMonitor and assist with building services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and mechanical systemsCoordinate contractors and service providers, ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standardAssist with defect identification, tracking and rectification activitiesMaintain the presentation and functionality of common areas,



amenities and shared spacesMaintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and compliance documentationMonitor maintenance stock, tools and consumables to support operational requirementsSupport emergency response activities and after‐hours incidents as requiredWhat we're looking for:Experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, property operations or a related fieldStrong problem‐solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issuesA resident‐first mindset with a commitment to service excellenceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage competing priorities in a dynamic operational environmentExperience coordinating contractors and service providersComfortable using maintenance management systems, mobile applications and digital toolsCurrent driver's licenceExperience within residential, Build to Rent, hotel or commercial property environments highly regardedRelevant licences, tickets or certifications (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire systems or general maintenance disciplines) advantageousAt Apt, we believe great resident experiences start with well‐maintained homes and thoughtfully operated communities.
