Lead Emergency Medicine Services in One of Regional Australia's Largest Emergency Departments Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join a major regional health service and play an important role in the continued development of one of regional Australia's largest Emergency Departments.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a FACEM or substantially comparable overseas-trained Emergency Physician seeking clinical variety, leadership opportunities and the ability to influence the future direction of Emergency Medicine.
Working within a collaborative and highly experienced multidisciplinary team, you will manage a diverse adult and paediatric case mix while providing senior clinical leadership, mentoring junior doctors and contributing to education, quality improvement and service innovation.

As a Consultant, You Will Contribute To
Senior clinical decision-making
Supervision and mentoring of Emergency Medicine registrars
Teaching of junior medical staff and Rural Generalist trainees

About You
Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM), or
A substantially comparable international specialist qualification
Eligibility for Specialist Registration with AHPRA, or
Eligibility to pursue registration through the ACEM Specialist Assessment pathway
Strong clinical Emergency Medicine experience
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Commitment to education and clinical governance
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
International Medical Graduates Welcome.
SIMGs and overseas‐trained Emergency Physicians are encouraged to enquire.
Doctors with international specialist qualifications may be eligible to pursue the ACEM Specialist Pathway, depending on their qualifications, training and experience.
