You'll work closely with sales teams and subject matter experts to understand customer requirements, shape solid responses and coordinate submissions from start to finish.
Based in Sydney and reporting to the Director Capture and Proposals, you'll play an important role in helping Serco create solutions that make a positive impact.As a Bid Writer / Coordinator in the Capture and Proposals team, you'll make a positive impact by:Working with Sales and subject matter experts to develop pre-qualification, EOI and tender responsesAnalysing client requirements and translating complex information into clear, customer-focused contentCoordinating bid activities, contributors, actions and deadlines to keep submissions on trackWriting persuasive executive summaries, cover letters and bid responses aligned to customer needsEditing and proofreading tender content to ensure accuracy, consistency and a strong Serco voiceManaging document production, templates and bid library content while supporting continuous improvementSerco is a place for youYou Could Be a Great Fit If You HaveExceptional written communication,
editing and proofreading skillsExperience writing and coordinating bids, proposals, tenders or similar business documentsStrong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work with subject matter expertsExcellent organisation and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlinesStrong attention to detail and a focus on quality, accuracy and complianceAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePointYou'll bring demonstratable experience in a Bid Writer, Proposal Writer, or Tender Coordinator, with experience preparing responses to RFTs, RFQs, EOIs, RFPs or tenders.A degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing, Business or a related discipline is preferred.Experience with government procurement, bid management platforms and APMP best practice will also support your success.In joining us, you'll be part of a highly supportive culture with trusted leaders that will help you achieve your goals.
