This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring our products are dispatched safely, efficiently and on time, while developing the team and driving improvements in service, cost and operational performance.What we offerCompetitive salary and onsite car parkingFull time permanent positionWork with a results-driven and supportive teamOpportunity to lead and improveResponsibilitiesLead, develop and manage the Dispatch team, including resourcing, performance and day-to-day operationsPlan and coordinate dispatch schedules and delivery routes to achieve DIFOT and customer requirementsAlign dispatch capacity with production outputs and respond to changing operational prioritiesMonitor safety, Chain of Responsibility and transport compliance requirementsManage fleet, carriers and transport resources to support safe, reliable and cost-effective deliveryMonitor operational KPIs, costs and performance trends and drive continuous improvementWork closely with production, sales and other teams to resolve delivery issues and improve customer outcomesBuild strong relationships with internal and external customers, carriers and service providersDemonstrated experience leading a dispatch, logistics or supply chain operation, ideally within manufacturingStrong people leadership skills with experience developing teams and managing performanceSound knowledge of transport, warehousing,



inventory and safety/compliance requirementsStrong planning, scheduling and problem-solving capabilityCommercial mindset with experience managing costs and improving operational performanceConfident in use of operational systems, data and KPIs to make decisionsStrong communication skills and a genuine commitment to safety and customer serviceGlass industry experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.Viridian has a robust commitment to health and safety, with a pre-employment medical policy (including a drug and alcohol screen) requiring successful completion prior to an offer being made.
