Focused on sustainability and regional growth, our client oversees road networks, environmental management, and public amenities to enhance the quality of life for residents.Your new roleProvide high-level executive support to senior leadership, including diary, email, and correspondence managementCoordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, reports, and briefing materialsManage travel arrangements, events, functions, and logistical requirementsAct as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining professional relationshipsPrepare and distribute reports, presentations, correspondence, and other executive documentationSupport financial administration activities including purchase orders, reconciliations, and expense processingAssist with prioritising executive workloads, managing deadlines,



and ensuring timely follow-up of actionsHandle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalismWhat you'll need to succeedPrevious experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior management or executive leadershipAdvanced Microsoft Office skills and robust administrative proficiencyExceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesHighly developed verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and minute takingStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisationHigh level of diplomacy, professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service skillsFlexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and workloadsCurrent Queensland C Class Driver's LicenceLocal Government experience highly regardedExperience with TechnologyOne and ECM systems desirableWhat you'll get in returnThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a busy local government team in Emerald on a 3-month temporary contract.
Working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, the role offers the hours of 9am – 5pm.
Supporting senior leadership, you'll play a key role in managing executive administration, stakeholder engagement, reports, and meeting coordination while benefiting from a competitive casual hourly rate of $*****–$***** per hour (inclusive of casual loading) and the opportunity to make an immediate impact within a fast-paced and professional environment.
