You'll work closely with a collaborative team to create realistic simulation environments and help build capability across naval personnel.
Your role blends technical expertise with hands-on training delivery, ensuring learning is safe, engaging and aligned with Defence requirements.
You'll play a meaningful part in shaping future maritime operations.As An Assistant Maritime Warfare Instructor In The Navigation And Synthetic Warfare Training Team,



You'll Make a Positive Impact BySupporting delivery of bridge warfare training using simulation systemsOperating and preparing bridge simulators for realistic training scenariosProviding tactical communications and whole-of-ship emulation during exercisesContributing to development of training materials and course improvementsMaintaining compliance with Defence and Serco training standardsParticipating in debriefs and continuous improvement of training outcomesSerco is a place for youYou Could Be a Great Fit If You HaveExperience as an RAN sailor in a bridge or operations room environmentStrong communication skills with confidence engaging diverse stakeholdersAbility to stay organised and deliver quality work under pressureExperience or interest in training delivery or instructional rolesConfidence using Microsoft Office and working in structured environmentsSimulation systems experience or willingness to learnA commitment to upholding the highest standards of trust and responsibilityBe able to achieve and maintain a defence security clearance of NV1 or higherAre you ready to do important work that really matters?
