And because great results come from great teams, we make sure we enjoy the ride along the way.ABOUT THE ROLEReporting to the State General Manager, the Auction Services Manager leads our local auction administration support team and keeps the engine room of our auctions running - from pre-sale readiness through to post-sale administration and financial workflow follow-up.
You'll be the go-to person on the ground, making sure work is prioritised, issues are escalated early, and our national processes are delivered consistently at a local level.Daily responsibilities include:Lead, coach and develop a small team across auction coordination, administration, reception and site supportOversee the auction lifecycle locally — sale readiness checks, handoffs, escalations and workflow controlsManage local financial workflows including receipting follow-up,
refund coordination and payment status visibilityAct as the key escalation and coordination contact for the GM, BDMs and site leadershipWork closely with Sales, Operations, Finance and Customer Service to resolve issues and keep things movingSpot recurring issues and contribute to process improvement across states and divisionsABOUT YOUYou are a natural organiser who thrives in a busy, process-driven environment — calm under pressure, across the detail, and quick to escalation when something isn't right.You will bring:2+ years' experience in auction operations, administration, shared services or a comparable operational leadership roleProven experience leading teams in a high-volume environment with multiple stakeholder groupsA strong understanding of auction workflows, sale readiness, operational controls and post-sale administrationExperience with auction management systems (Salesforce or other CRM or online marketplace system is highly desired),or similar operational platformsClear, professional communication skills and a cooperative, service-oriented approachSound judgement, practical prioritisation and strong follow-throughBENEFITS & PERKSWe offer stocked pantry with Friday site team lunches, free onsite parking, $40 monthly staff voucher, free EAP program, novated lease and superannuation salary sacrifice.Come as you are - At Slattery Grays Auctions we are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
