Our client is a well‐established and growing Australian business within the building and construction products industry, supplying quality products and solutions to customers across Australia.
They have built a strong reputation for service, reliability and industry expertise — and they're looking for a Customer & Sales Support professional who can play a key role in keeping customers happy, orders moving and the sales team supported.
This is far more than simply taking orders.
You'll become a key link between customers, sales, logistics, finance and operations, taking ownership of enquiries and making sure things get resolved.
The Opportunity
You'll join a busy, collaborative team where no two days are exactly the same.
From helping a customer find the right product and confirming stock, through to processing an order, chasing freight, resolving a delivery issue or supporting the sales team with a quotation — you'll be involved across the customer journey from enquiry through to delivery.
You'll have the opportunity to build strong product and industry knowledge, develop your commercial skills and become a trusted point of contact for customers.
What you'll be doing
Become a trusted point of contact for customers across phone and email
Manage customer enquiries from initial question through to resolution
Process orders, amendments, credits and invoices accurately through SAP
Provide customers with product, pricing, availability and delivery information
Take ownership of back orders, keeping customers informed and finding solutions
Coordinate with freight and transport providers to resolve delivery issues
Support customers using the company's B2B online ordering platform




Work closely with the internal and external sales teams on orders, quotations, pricing and customer requests
Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues quickly and professionally
Maintain accurate customer and order information in SAP
Assist with reporting, administration and other sales support activities

An administration role with strong customer interaction
You'll ideally bring:
Experience in customer service, internal sales or sales support
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Experience using SAP or another ERP system
The ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast‐paced environment
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach
The confidence to investigate an issue rather than simply pass it on
Experience with order processing, invoicing, logistics or delivery coordination is highly regarded
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys taking ownership and getting things done.
