Working within a cleanroom and Lean manufacturing setting, you will be responsible for precision assembly, inspection and testing of micro-components, contributing to both production and new product development activities.ResponsibilitiesAssemble precision sub-assemblies and finished products to engineering specificationsTest products and components to ensure function and quality standards are metTroubleshoot faults in equipment, devices or productsSet up, operate and adjust production equipment in line with standard operating proceduresSupport engineers with prototype builds and new product/process developmentInspect finished goods to company and customer specificationsUse measuring tools such as callipers, micrometres and gauges to ensure accuracyMaintain accurate production records,



logs and data entry (Excel/MES systems)Create and update manufacturing documentation including work instructions and batch recordsManage materials, waste and inventory in line with company proceduresCommunicate effectively with engineering, operations and cross-functional teamsRequirementsPrevious experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (precision assembly desirable)Strong practical and hands-on skills and a high level of attention to detailAbility to follow and interpret engineering drawings and work instructionsExperience using measurement and inspection equipmentComfortable working in a cleanroom or controlled environment (desirable)Good understanding of process control and quality standardsConfident using Microsoft Excel or manufacturing data systemsAble to work independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
