You will play a key role in supporting participant onboarding, funding management, invoicing, payroll, compliance, and financial reporting while maintaining accurate records and delivering exceptional customer service.Your Responsibilities May IncludeParticipant Onboarding and FundingFacilitating the onboarding of current participants, including account setup and completion of required documentationInterpreting NDIS plans and maintaining participant funding recordsMonitoring participant budgets and funding utilisationLiaising with participants, stakeholders,
and internal teams regarding NDIS funding and supportsResponding to enquiries relating to participant accounts and funding arrangementsFinancial AdministrationPreparing and monitoring budgets for supported accommodation servicesProcessing and reconciling invoices, payments, and financial transactionsTracking participant funding utilisation and preparing financial reportsMonitoring organisational cash flow and financial performanceSupporting accurate financial record keeping and reportingInvoicing, Claiming and ReconciliationPreparing and lodging NDIS claims through PRODAProcessing participant invoices and financial transactionsMonitoring outstanding accounts and following up discrepanciesReconciling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statementsSupporting teams to meet invoicing deadlinesPayroll AdministrationManaging timesheet collation and payroll processingSupporting employees and managers to meet payroll deadlinesMaintaining accurate payroll recordsEnsuring payroll processes comply with relevant legislation and Award requirementsCommunication and Stakeholder LiaisonProviding clear and accurate information regarding accounts, funding, and invoicingSupporting collaboration between finance, operations, rostering, and service delivery teamsBuilding positive relationships with participants, staff, and external stakeholdersDelivering a high standard of customer serviceSystems, Reporting and Continuous ImprovementUtilise accounting, payroll, and Microsoft Office systems effectively, including Xero, Employment Hero, and Budgetly where applicable.Maintaining accurate records and reporting systemsProducing financial reports and operational dataUsing accounting, payroll,
and Microsoft Office systems effectivelySupporting organisational compliance and audit requirementsAbout YouWe are looking for people who demonstrate:High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organisational and time management abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholdersMinimum two years' experience in a finance, billing, accounts, or payroll role within the NDIS or disability sector.Certificate IV or higher in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience within the NDIS sector.Alignment with the BRIGHT Values of Balance, Reliability, Integrity, Growth & Innovation, Happiness, and Teamwork.Essential RequirementsSound understanding of payroll processes and current SCHADS Award requirements.Certificate IV or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proficiency with accounting, payroll, and expense management systemsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong Microsoft Office capabilitySound understanding of payroll and timesheet processesStrong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsNational Police CheckCurrent Australian Driver LicenceValid and unrestricted Australian work rightsAbility to work remotely and attend office locations as requiredAccess to a reliable internet connection and computerDesirable Qualifications And ExperienceExperience in a finance, billing, or accounts role within the NDIS or disability sectorKnowledge of NDIS funding, pricing arrangements, and claiming requirementsExperience using Xero, Employment Hero, and BudgetlyProficiency in NDIS claiming through the myplace provider portal (PRODA) and understanding of NDIS legislation and funding arrangements.Experience processing payroll under the SCHADS AwardFamiliarity with NDIS claiming through the myplace provider portal (PRODA)Understanding of GST and BAS processingKnowledge of NDIS legislation and funding arrangementsJob Type:Casual, Part-Time or Full-TimeWork Location:Hybrid (Work from Home and In Person)
