Our client is a well-established architectural practice based in Macquarie Park, with a team of approximately 25 professionals and a portfolio of over 600 completed projects across Australia.In addition to architectural services, the business operates a dedicated project management division, providing client-side project management and construction support for high-end residential developments.
Their projects include luxury custom homes, duplexes, townhouses and architecturally designed residential developments across Sydney.Due to continued project growth, they are looking for a Project Manager to join their project management team.
This chance is particularly suited to someone with an architectural background who is looking to transition from a design-focused role into project management and project delivery.Working alongside an experienced Project Manager, you will gain exposure to the construction and delivery side of high-end residential projects, using your architectural knowledge while developing broader skills in client-side project management, contract administration and construction coordination.Key Responsibilities:Assist with management and coordination of high-end residential projects during construction phaseAct as a key coordination point between clients, builders, architects and consultantsAttend client meetings,



site meetings and project coordination meetingsReview construction drawings and assist with resolving design and construction-related queriesCoordinate RFIs and design-related queries between builders and consultantsAssist with variations, progress claims and Extension of Time (EOT) assessmentsSupport builder tender processes and contractor coordinationMonitor project progress, programme milestones and key deliverablesMaintain project records, meeting minutes and construction documentationSkills & Requirements:2+ years Australian architectural experience, ideally within residential projectsQualification in Architecture, Architectural Design or a related disciplineGood understanding of residential construction drawings, and project delivery processesExposure to residential projects from design/documentation through to construction is highly regardedSite coordination, consultant coordination or construction-phase experience will be advantageousStrong organisational skills and attention to detailConfident communicating with clients, builders, architects and consultantsA proactive attitude with a genuine interest in developing a career in Project ManagementWork on architecturally designed luxury residential projects across SydneyGain exposure to projects from construction through to completionLearn directly from an experienced Client-side Project Manager
