Weekend cover plus on-call, as required.About the roleThe Consultant in Palliative Medicine/Palliative Medicine Physician leads and manages the delivery of evidenced based Palliative medicine to patients and families across Cabrini.
The Palliative Care service operates in an integrated model across 4 service arms: consult; inpatient, ambulatory and community.
The doctor will oversee the clinical service delivery to patients and families as directed by the Director of Palliative Medicine.Qualifications and experienceMBBS or equivalent and postgraduate qualifications in Palliative Medicine or related specialtyUnconditional registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRAStrong background in Palliative MedicineExperience in multidisciplinary care deliveryExperience in problem solving within a team settingAbility to work an on call rotating roster, including weekendsContract and working hoursPart-time, fixed-term 0.5 EFT over 12 months.
