About the RoleAs the Maintenance Services Assistant, you will help ensure our buildings, equipment, gardens and communal spaces remain safe, functional and beautifully presented.
Your work supports the comfort, wellbeing and quality of life of our residents, and no two days are the same.This is a hands-on, diverse role with opportunities for growth, development and long-term stability.No two days are the same!
As Maintenance Services Assistant, you will:Maintain buildings,
equipment and public areas to a high safety and quality standardCarry out general maintenance to keep facilities in excellent working orderProvide garden care, including upkeep of outdoor areas, pathways and garden bedsMaintain accurate maintenance records and schedulesManage stock levels for repair materials and gardening suppliesSupport asset register upkeep and planning for refurbishments and replacementsEnsure compliance with essential services and safety regulationsOversee contractors, maintain site vehicles, and assist with on-call and other duties as required.About YouYou'llthrive with us if you have:General maintenance and gardening abilitiesA current Driver's LicenceA current National Police Certificate/NDIS WC (or willingness to obtain)Experience with maintenance programs or facility upkeepA relevant trade certificate (highly regarded)Experience in aged care or similar environments (desirable)A commitment to meeting Aged Care Worker Screening requirementsPerks & BenefitsAs a not-for-profit you can reduce your tax by salary packaging up to$15,900per year for living expenses, bills, rent,mortgageand groceries.
