Designed to evolve with the seasons, the venue will operate as a daytime café, a relaxed destination for sunset drinks and a private events venue.With a beautiful parkland setting, a focus on exceptional hospitality and an experienced leadership team already in place, we're incredibly excited about what's ahead.And now, we're looking for an experienced hospitality all-rounder to join our opening team as Assistant Venue Manager / 2IC.This is an opportunity to join a brand-new venue from the ground up and play a key role in bringing it to life.Working closely alongside our Café Manager, you'll help lead the day-to-day café operation, support the FOH team and take an active leadership role on the floor.We're looking for someone who is confident in busy café environments, loves being hands-on with their team and is ready to step into a senior leadership role.Robust coffee and barista experience is highly regarded, and we'd particularly love to hear from experienced Head Baristas, Café Supervisors or Assistant Managers who are confident across both coffee and front-of-house operations.You'll also work alongside our broader leadership team, including our Group Venue Manager, Bar & Operations Manager, Executive Chef and Functions & Events Manager.Your responsibilities will include ~Supporting the Café Manager with the day-to-day operation of Puddle DuckLeading shifts and maintaining exceptional service standardsSupporting, training and developing the front-of-house teamHelping establish systems and operational procedures as we openSupporting coffee quality, consistency and barista training where experiencedAssisting with rostering,
