Backed by the latest technology and treatment techniques, our compassionate team works together to make sure every patient feels welcomed and well cared for.We're looking for an experienced Practice Manager to take ownership of the strategic, operational, financial and people leadership of our practice.
This is a full-time role offering genuine autonomy and influence - you'll be trusted to lead complex operational and financial functions, shape practice strategy, and drive outcomes across every part of the business.About the RoleYou will:Own the financial performance and commercial sustainability of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue strategy and reporting to DirectorsLead day-to-day operations to ensure effective patient flow, scheduling and clinic utilisationProvide senior leadership to our administrative and reception team, including workforce planning, performance management and developmentChampion the patient experience, monitoring feedback and reputation, and identifying opportunities for growthEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, Medicare/private billing requirements and accreditation standardsPartner with the Directors on strategic planning and translating this into operational targets and continuous improvement initiativesAbout YouYou're calm,

You're comfortable rolling up your sleeves across both clinical and administrative functions when needed, and you take confidentiality, safety and continuous learning seriously.
You have:Demonstrated experience in practice management, operations management, or senior administrative leadership - ideally within healthcare or a specialist medical practiceStrong financial management and analytical skills, including budgeting and performance reportingExcellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skillsThe ability to work autonomously and exercise sound strategic judgementExperience in ophthalmology, optometry or specialist medical practice highly regardedWorking knowledge of Medicare, DVA and private billing processes is a bonusWhy Join Goodwood Eye Centre?
