But what we're most proud of are our people and what they bring to the Rail First team every day.What you'll doAs a Fitter you will be primarily accountable for:Servicing, component change outs and repairs to rollingstockOverhaul of rollingstock, components and various other plant and equipmentPipework and air system installationsRollingstock and current wagon build fit outsRepairs to other plant and equipment as requiredMaintaining records pertaining to maintenance programs in accordance with the requirements of our Rail Safety Management System and relevant engineering standardsWhat you'll bringAs a successful applicant you will be trade qualified and have experience in the following items:Knowledge and experience in maintenance in a heavy engineering industryExperience in a rail related field is preferred but not essential,



heavy equipment maintainers are encouraged to applyDemonstrate a working knowledge of WHS legislation and risk standardsAbility to work as part of a team and unsupervised when requiredExcellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills are essentialEffective problem-solving skills, a positive attitude and be keen to contribute to continuous improvement to meet our reliability, availability and safety standardsSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol screeningYou'll live and breathe our core values of Safety, Trust, Achievement and Care and thrive on being part of our team-based culture where your voice is always heard and your contribution matters.Why join Rail First?
