You'll be shaping and delivering enterprise scale cloud data platforms for major public and private sector clients.What you'll be doingLeading architecture and solution design for enterprise GCP data platforms from discovery through to deliveryRunning stakeholder workshops, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, governed cloud solutionsDesigning and building batch and real-time data pipelines using GCP-native servicesImplementing enterprise data governance using Google Dataplex — lineage, cataloguing, metadata, data qualityProducing the full artefact suite: SADs, HLDs, options papers, ADRs — and presenting to Architecture Review Boards and Governance CommitteesApplying GCP security controls,



VPC/networking principles, IAM, and data protection standardsWhat you'll bringDeep, hands-on GCP experience across BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, Dataplex, and IAMStrong dimensional and analytical data modelling, advanced SQL, and OLAP platform designFamiliarity with Terraform, CI/CD, and DataOps practicesGCP Qualified Data Engineer and/or Cloud Architect certifications highly regardedBaseline or NV1 clearance requiredThis role is an initial 12 month contract open to candidates from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra.
