Psychiatric Registered Nurse – Grade 2 Mental Health Acute Inpatient Services Permanent, Part -Time Location: Melbourne, Fitzroy Salary Range: $76,515 - $90,000 - commensurate with experience (plus super)ABOUT THE SERVICESt Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is seeking experienced and motivated Psychiatric Registered Nurses (Grade 2) to join our Mental Health Acute Inpatient Services.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented care to consumers experiencing acute mental health conditions within an inpatient setting.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessment, care planning, and therapeutic interventions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
You will be supported to further develop your mental health nursing skills, with access to ongoing education, supervision, and professional development opportunities.ABOUT YOUMinimum 2 years' acute nursing experience, preferably in mental health inpatient settingsCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseStrong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamExcellent clinical assessment, risk management, and de-escalation skillsHighly developed communication and interpersonal skillsConfidence managing acute and complex mental health presentationsCommitment to recovery-oriented and patient-centred careOngoing commitment to professional developmentSolid computer and documentation skillsWHY JOIN SVHM?
