You'll be part of a collaborative team that upholds the highest standards of aged care, with ongoing training and professional development to support your growth in the sector.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and up to date documentation including notes, assessments and care plansObserve, report and document all change in resident need requirementsEnsure maintenance of clean linen, and making of beds for residentsAssisting residents with mobility.Accurately deliver laundered clothing to residents' roomsAssist with the serving of meals assisting residents as requiredAssist in the delivery of specialised nursing needs for residentsAssisting in personal hygiene and dressingSupport independence of residents by providing appropriate assistance with personal care in accordance with care plansLiaise with staff,



residents, visitors, GPs and allied health professionals to provide prompt and friendly serviceAct to protect the rights of residents including confidentiality, privacy, individual choice and decision‐makingProvide emotional support to residentsActively participate in the Care team environmentBuild and maintain effective relationshipsEnsure compliance against the Aged Care Standards is maintained where appropriateBe responsive to the needs of the company and its changing environmentAttend meetings and compulsory education as requiredIdentify self‐education needsParticipate in safety and improvement activities for the organizationIdentify and report areas of risk (including complaints) within the scope of the positionDemonstrate adherence to all OH & S policies and proceduresDisplay responsibility for self, team and environmentEnsure compliance with all legislation and other requirements relevant to your positionObserve and practice the principles and obligations of Equal Employment Opportunity and maintain a workplace free from bullying and harassmentComply with and promote company policies and proceduresSkills & RequirementsMust comply with having annual flu vaccination and be fully immunised against COVID-19.Must sign a statutory declaration to identify serious criminal activity committed outside of Australia.
